Another Day Without You

Well this old place is caving in and I just ain’t been bothering
To straighten up and clear my troubled mind
Every time I try to clean and rearrange I find more things you left behind
Maybe I’ll just cave in with it, every day I’m coming more and more unglued
I’m just trying to survive another day without you

The mail just keeps on piling up and salesmen keep on dialing up
And empty cans have covered up the sink
And all I seem to care about’s your whereabouts and when I’m going to drink
Never dreamed my love could be so thrown away and yet remain so true
I’m just trying to survive another day without you

Well now wait a minute hon and I’ll try not to be so glum
And I’m glad you called to say hello today
Regardless of the shape I’m in it does me good just listening to what you say
Didn’t want to sound so desperate, can’t find other words for what I’m going through
I’m just trying to survive another day without you
I never dreamed my love could be so thrown away and yet still remain so true
I’m just trying to survive one more day without you
